淡輪山荘の西端に位置する、竹中源助が愛した書斎の状態チェック。部分的に雨漏りもあり、南面と西面の土壁が崩れていて、土台はボロボロ。
淡輪山荘の中で最も傷みがひどい部屋と言えます。床板をめくる前から想像はついていたのですが、まさに「100年古民家」的な荒れ果て具合です。
ここは近代技法も駆使して、大幅に改修しなければいけない場所です。
Checking the study at the west end of Tanowa Sanso. The most damaged area in the house.
Checking the condition of Takenaka Gensuke's beloved study, located at the western end of Tanowa Sanso. There are some leaks, the earthen walls on the south and west sides have collapsed, together with the foundation is crumbling.
This is probably the most damaged room in Tanowa Sanso. One can easily imagine this even before turning over the floorboards, but it is the reality of the house passing 100 years when you overlook the damage and not providing adequeate repair works.
This is an area that needs to be extensively renovated, with using modern architectural technique.
