100年古民家 淡輪山荘のリノベーションの第一作業は、塗壁の表面はがし。シロアリ駆除に影響が出ない作業からのスモールスタートです。
屋内とはいえ、長い年月に耐えてきた建物。いろいろな部分の補修が必要です。広間の壁をはじめ、塗り壁の傷んだ部分は、今ある壁を剥がして下地を整え、仕上げ塗りをする必要があります。
はがし終わった広間をみると、むしろすっきり感が漂います。これから本格的な改修に入っていくと思うと、どんなふうによみがえってくれるのかという期待でワクワクしてきます。
The first task in the renovation of the 100-year-old Tannowa Sanso is to remove the whole surface of plaster walls. It's such a small start with our works because the first priority is not to affect termite extermination. They are so sensitive for noise, teperature, any circusmference changes. Thus using big motor, engine tools must me refrained.
Looking at the hall after the plaster surface scratched off, it even looks rather refreshed. Imagining the fully scaled refurbishment, I get excited thinking where to set what, e.g., piano, screen, tables, sofas as such.
